giorgia couture's designs are dedicated to uniqueness, quality and ecological consciousness. We adhere to the 7 forms of sustainable practices listed below created by green strategy in 2012 and updated in 2016.

1. on demand and custom-made

each collection are only produced on demand and its lifecycle however, does not end towards the end of  each season.  brides and clients can choose to customise with options including alternative fabrics, neckline and back alterations, train and sleeves alterations.

2. green & clean

our eco-accredited manufacturing premise uses luxurious and all natural fabrics like silk and linen as well as eco-friendly deadstock laces to minimise enviromental footprint. we also adopt a zero to minimal-waste cutting techniques.

3.high quality & timeless designs

in line with giorgia couture's dna and aesthetic principals, we celebrate femininity with effortless designs in airy and lightweight dresses that never compromises on individual style and comfort. each dress has a unique touch of intricate details that reflects timeless elegance in highly sort-after silhouettes. these dresses are to be pass down from generation to generations. 

4. fair and ethical

giorgia couture is  committed to support the developing women artisan community local and internationally.

the founder, vienna mei spend months finding the right manufacturing partner and then build strong personal relationships with the owners to ensure in-depth knowledge and control into production and also ensure fair trade practices.

5. repair, redesign & upcycle

all orders from giorgia couture's online shop from march 2019 onwards includes a local toxic-free dry cleaning and gown preservation service. this prolong the lifecycle of dresses and ensure the quality is kept at its prime condition after the wedding. 

request for redesign can be done according to each individual needs. (redesign charges applies) 

we work with charity organisations like angel hearts that upcycle wedding dresses or fabrics for a greater purpose. 

6. rent & resale

giorgia couture offer online space for former bride to sell their dresses in their online shop. this service is available starting May 2019 for all #giorgiabride. 

rentals are also recorded so that brides on further end of the dress cycle get a discount. 

7. vintage & secondhand

as a sustainable bridal label, giorgia couture has a vision statement to create dresses that would be cherished with love and joy. to achieve that, deep research and development has to be put into fabric and material sourcing as well as gown preservation so that the lifecycle of dresses are prolonged and can be used as secondhand and vintage dresses years after its original production date.
